Hello World Example
Basic Example
An Alia project uses main.alia in the project root directory as its entry point; the project skeleton can be generated with alia create or alia init, see the Installation Guide. The contents of main.alia are as follows:
print 'Hello World!'
How to Run
In interpreted mode, alia start executes main.alia in the project root directory:
alia start
In compiled mode, alia run compiles the project and runs the compiled output, with js as the default target language:
alia run --lang:js
Output:
Hello World!
